School bus backs into car

An Albert Lea Bus Co. school bus reportedly backed into a parked car at 1805 Bayview Drive at 3:18 p.m. Tuesday, according to Albert Lea police.

No one was injured.

Police reports stated there were five children on the bus at the time.

 

Pickup theft reported

A 1996 black Chevy club cab one-ton truck was reported stolen from a shed overnight Monday at 72852 150th St., Glenville, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. The theft was reported at 8:59 a.m. Tuesday. Reports state the pickup has Rogness Farms printed on the side of it.

 

Man arrested for criminal damage

Albert Lea police arrested Donicio Jeremiah Madrigal, 33, for criminal damage and possession of stolen property at 11:44 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of East Fifth Street and Frank Avenue, according to reports. The arrest was tied to an incident earlier in the day at 1027 Virginia Place.
