2 arrested for DWI

Albert Lea police arrested Shane Stephen Olson, 45, for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 2:25 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Front Street and Spark Avenue, according to reports.

Deputies arrested Wod Omot Talian for third-degree driving while intoxicated and no proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 1:34 a.m. Sunday at 1318 E. Main St. in Albert Lea, according to reports.

 

Man arrested for assault

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jeffrey Cole Williamson for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct at 11:59 p.m. Saturday at 73206 315th St., Hartland, according to reports.

 

Tire reported slashed

A tire on a maroon Mercury Sable was reported slashed at 338 N. Hillcrest Circle in Clarks Grove at 7:45 a.m. Friday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

Man arrested for marijuana

A Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputy cited Daniel Tomas Cardona with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 12:43 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of West Main Street and South First Avenue in Albert Lea, according to reports.

 

Purse reported stolen

A purse was reported stolen from an apartment at 100 First Ave. N.E. in Clarks Grove at midnight Sunday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A vehicle was reported keyed at 305 First Ave. N.E. in Geneva at 2:32 p.m. Sunday, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The incident took place overnight.

A wall was reported spray-painted at 101 W. Park Ave. in Hollandale at 5:36 a.m. today, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Police cited Natisha Rose Wofford, 20, for theft from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 6:43 p.m. Friday, according to reports.

Albert Lea police cited Roxanne Lee Johnson for shoplifting from Walmart at 2:02 p.m. Sunday, according to reports.

Police cited Holly Victoria Cole, 20, for shoplifting from Walmart at 7:57 p.m. Sunday, reports stated.
