Dennis and Anita Thisius of Clarks Grove and Joey and Nedra Sanders of Bakersfield, Calif., announce the marriage of their children, Steph Thisius and Noah Sanders.

The couple was married on June 8, 2013, at Croad Vineyards in Paso Robles, Calif. Clay Lomax, brother-in-law of the groom, officiated.

The bride’s grandparents are Harold and LaVonne Thisius and Leona and the late George Yokiel, all of Wells.

The groom’s grandparents are Merita Thomas and the late Joe Sanders and the late Leroy and Betty Polm, all of Bakersfield.

The maid of honor was Stacie Thisius of Clarks Grove, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Lindsey Nagorski of Little Falls, friend of the bride.

Ring attendant was Marlee Lomax, niece of the groom and daughter of Clay and Carrie Lomax of Bakersfield.

The best man was Derek Erquhart of Bakersfield, friend of the groom. Groomsman was Brett Baisden of Missoula, Mont., friend of the groom.

Personal attendant and wedding coordinator was Jane Theobald of Bakersfield, friend of the bride.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2007 graduate of North Dakota State University with bachelor’s degrees in landscape architecture and environmental design. The bride is a licensed landscape architect in the state of California and is employed by North of the River Recreation and Park District as the landscape architect and park planner.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Centennial High School in Bakersfield and a 2005 graduate of California State University Bakersfield with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration/marketing. He is employed at Quinn Company Caterpillar in equipment sales.

The couple resides in Bakersfield.

A small dinner reception followed the marriage ceremony in June. A reception and dance in the couple’s honor will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club in Albert Lea. All family and friends are invited.
