A motor vehicle and school bus crash was reported at 7:42 a.m. Friday at 2501 E. Main St. No injuries were reported.

 

3 vehicles damaged in hit-and-run

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:38 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Amelia Avenue and East Hawthorne Street according to police. The police log listed three vehicles as being hit.

 

2 arrested for drinking violations

Albert Lea police arrested Tyler Wesley Pagel, 19, for underage drinking and possession of drug paraphernalia at 5:34 a.m. Saturday at 2708 Bridge Ave. after receiving a report of two males being disorderly. Another person was arrested for drinking and driving and possession of alcohol.

 

Vehicle window smashed out

A window was reported smashed out of a vehicle in the parking lot of the Blazing Star Trail at 10:03 a.m. Sunday, according to police.

 

Coke machine broken into

The Coke machine was reported broken into at Myre-Big Island State Park at 7:17 a.m. Friday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

2 men arrested for assault in separate events

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jeff Edward Minear for domestic assault at 3:14 p.m. Friday at 80497 River Road.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Loren Todd Saxon for obstructing justice and domestic assault at 2:50 a.m. Sunday at 301 Main St., Manchester, according to reports.

 

Fire reported

A small fire was reported in the vent stack at Renewable Energy Group, 15200 780th Ave., near Glenville, at 5:43 p.m. Sunday. The fire was contained.
