Man arrested for DWI

Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jordan Aaron Perry for third-degree driving while intoxicated and second-degree test refusal after dispatchers received a report at 11:26 p.m. Tuesday of a car in the field about a quarter mile north of Glenville.

 

Stolen vehicle recovered

HOLLANDALE — A vehicle that was reported stolen from Austin was found on the north side of Minnesota Highway 251 about a half mile east of Hollandale at 9:17 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

School bus arm violations reported

Two school bus arm violations were reported to police Tuesday afternoon.

The first reportedly took place at about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Ruble Avenue. The vehicle involved was described as being a dark-colored sedan. The second was at 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Ramsey Street and involved a silver Trailblazer.

 

2 reported tampering with vehicles

Two males wearing white were reportedly found tampering with a vehicle at 720 St. Peter Ave. They left heading east, according to police. A vehicle was later reported tampered with at 714 St. Peter Ave.

 

Vehicle damaged

A vehicle was reported keyed while parked at Hy-Vee between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

 

Shed broken into

The Sheriff’s Office received a report at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday of a shed that was broken into at 107 Second St. S.W. in Clarks Grove. A GPS unit was stolen.

 

Items reported stolen

A suitcase with items valued at $750 was stolen out of a truck at 2301 E. Main St. at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday, according to police.

An air compressor was reported stolen from 506 Columbus Ave. at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday.

An injection pump was stolen off of a tractor in London Township at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
