Western Star Lodge No. 26 A.F. & A.M. of Albert Lea installed its cadre of officers on Jan. 4 for the 159th time since its charter in 1858. The members are extremely proud of their heritage and have portraits on display of all the former past masters since the lodge’s inception. All persons can take advantage of this Freeborn County history at any public function of the lodge such as its Amaranth pancake breakfast on the third Sunday of each month.
