1 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies arrested Win Kaing, 24, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after receiving a report of a drunken driver at 11:31 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 725th Avenue and 239th Street, northeast of Albert Lea.

 

Transformer on fire in Conger

A transformer was reported on fire at 12:17 p.m. Friday at 103 William Ave. in Conger.

 

Pickup reported stolen

A 1999 gray Ford F250 pickup was reported stolen at 5:04 a.m. today from 19995 767th Ave. in rural Albert Lea.

 

Man cited for leaving dog in vehicle

Albert Lea police cited Chad Aaron Meyer, 36, for having an unattended dog in a motor vehicle at 1:33 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., after police received a report of a dog left in a van in the parking lot of the store.

 

Gas tank reported stolen

A gas tank was reported stolen at 2:37 p.m. Friday off of a boat on a dock near The Fairway and Channel Road. The theft happened sometime in the last two weeks.

 

2 cited for disorderly conduct

Albert Lea police cited Irma Aide Sanchez, 29, and Benita Velez, 24, for disorderly conduct at 11:09 a.m. Saturday at 118 E. Front St.

 

Residences broken into

A mobile home and truck were reported broken into at 1:56 p.m. Saturday at 2401 Milo Ave. A house at 520 Wedgemore Drive was reported broken into at 3:40 p.m. Sunday. The screen was removed to gain access to the house.
