KidZone, the Wednesday afternoon program of First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea, is ready to begin another exciting season with kids in kindergarten through fifth grade, starting Sept. 10. This program is free and open to all children in the community. And kids can take a school bus to Southwest and then transfer to the KidZone bus and be dropped off right at the church. KidZone begins   at 3:30 p.m. and goes to 6 p.m., finishing up with a delicious meal. And in between, are games, videos, singing, Biblical teaching, crafts, skits, computer games and lots of fun, according to a press release.

Dean Christianson, the program’s director, said, “Last year our numbers exploded and kids just kept coming and growing each week, but that’s great and why we are here!”

If you would like more information about KidZone, call Christianson at 373-2035 or stop in at the church at 308 Water St. and pick up a brochure and registration sheet.
