Larry and Janice Irvine of Albert Lea and Ronald and Maureen Werner of Hastings announce the engagement of their children, Andrea Irvine and Nickolis Werner.

Andrea is the granddaughter of Bernice and the late Howard Germain of Winnebago and the late Betty and Durward Irvine of Amboy.

Nickolis is the grandson of Mary and the late Donald Frandrup of Hastings and the late Tony and Mary Katherine Werner of Hastings.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Albert Lea High School and attended Aveda Institute of Minneapolis. She is a hair loss technician at Hair Restoration Institute of Minnesota in Bloomington.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Hastings High School and attended University of River Falls, Wisconsin. He is an entertainment marketing consultant.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 11, 2014, at Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea.
