WELLS — The Wells City Council met in closed session Monday to hear an update into the investigation of a Wells Police officer on paid administrative leave.

Wells City Administrator Robin Leslie said the investigation is not yet complete into officer Steve Seipp. The council took no action, and Seipp will remain on leave.

Leslie said city leaders will be contacting union officials to schedule a meeting either at the next council meeting Nov. 10 or in a special meeting before.
