National Active and Retired Federal Employees

NARFE Chapter 469 met Oct. 14 at Pizza Ranch in Albert Lea. Bruce Stolaar and Florence Brandt from Albert Lea talked about the Gideon jail ministry program they participate in. The business meeting followed. Committee reports were given. Chapter 469 will not meet in December. The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 10 at Pizza Ranch in Austin.

 

Grapevine Twist

The Grapevine Twist Square Dance Club had a dance Oct. 25 at the Senior Center at Skyline Mall Plaza. Les Lalone was the caller and called to over two squares. Sloppy joes and treats were served after the dance. Servers for the evening were Ron and Betty Stoick. The next dance was Saturday, and Wayne Kubicek was the caller. A potluck was served after the dance.
