Man arrested for terroristic threats

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brandon Richard Grunwald for domestic assault and terroristic threats at 8:32 a.m. Monday at 206 Central Ave. S. in Geneva.

 

Grass fire started from cigarette

A small grass fire was reported at 11:32 a.m. Monday at 72618 225th St., Albert Lea. The fire appeared to have been accidental and started by a cigarette, according to reports.

 

Burglary reported

A burglary was reported at 8:25 p.m. Monday at 24294 775th Ave., Albert Lea.

 

Holes found
in tires

Holes were reported in the tires of a vehicle at 8:16 a.m. Monday at 1013 E. Richway Drive.

 

Counterfeit bills reported 

Counterfeit bills were reported at 1:50 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Police cite woman twice in one night

Albert Lea police cited a 23-year-old woman two times in the same evening on Monday for instruction permit violation. The woman, Melinda Jacqueline Shepherd, was first cited at 6:44 p.m. on Freeborn County Road 46. The second instance was after a traffic crash at 8:19 p.m. at 2105 E. Main St.

 

Dune buggy stolen

A dune buggy was reported stolen at 1:38 p.m. Friday from 20643 715th Ave., according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
