PLYMOUTH — Police have not yet provided details on what specifically led an officer to fatally shoot a man in a suburban Twin Cities fast food restaurant.

Plymouth Police Chief Michael Goldstein said officers responded to Arby’s restaurant at about 8:20 p.m. Thursday on a report of a disturbance. Goldstein said the man was fatally shot following a confrontation with an officer.

Investigators interviewed staff and customers inside the restaurant at the time of the shooting. No one else was hurt. The man who was killed has not been identified.
