Woman arrested for DWI

Police arrested Jennifer Lynn Rhiner for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated Monday at 6:14 a.m. at 118 S. Third Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

Man arrested for warrant 

Police arrested Troy Wade Loeffler on a local warrant for failure to appear in relation to a disorderly conduct charge at 9:26 p.m. Monday at 408 Fountain St. in Albert Lea.

 

Criminal damage to property reported

Screens were reported cut at 8:35 a.m. Monday at 210 E. Front St. in Albert Lea.

A water bottle was reported thrown through a picture window at 9:38 p.m. Monday at 2330 Milton Ave. in Albert Lea. A 13-to-14-year-old boy wearing a dark shirt and shorts reportedly took off running.

 

License plates stolen

License plates were reportedly stolen off of a vehicle at 2:57 p.m. Monday at 414 E. Front St. in Albert Lea.

 

More details released in crash

More details have been released in connection with Saturday afternoon’s crash that injured a bicyclist in Albert Lea.

Glenniss Nadine Winegar, 90, driver of a 2012 Volkswagen, has been cited for failure to yield in connection with the crash.

Winegar was reportedly heading southbound on Bridge Avenue, intending to turn east on Clark Street when she struck the bicyclist, Michael Charles Stam, 52. Stam reportedly had the right of way and was going east on Clark Street, intending to go north on Bridge Avenue.

Stam was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with minor injuries. He was listed in fair condition on Monday.

The incident was reported at 3:51 p.m. Saturday.
