1 arrested after assault reported

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Thomas Robert Rosenthal, 50, after an assault report was made at 3:28 p.m. Monday at 84529 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Hayward.

1 arrested on warrant

Deputies arrested Matthew Richard Hanson on a Mower County warrant at 8:04 p.m. Monday at 78467 Freeborn County Road 46, outside Albert Lea. A stolen vehicle with drugs in it was reportedly recovered.

Items stolen, damaged

A gun was reported stolen from a residence at 3:07 p.m. Saturday at 323 W. College St.

A theft of a Social Security card was reported at 5:39 p.m. Saturday at 319 Adams Ave.

A window screen was reported slashed at 2:10 p.m. Sunday at 209 Charlotte Ave.

A house was reported broken into at 3:08 p.m. Sunday at 817 W. Front St.

A bike was reported stolen at 4:28 p.m. Sunday at 1405 Circle Drive.

A mower was reported stolen at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at 106 Morin Lane.

A phone and purse were reported stolen out of a cart at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

A gas drive-off of $20 was reported at 9:25 a.m. Monday at 309 E. Main St., Clarks Grove.

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 9:38 a.m. Monday Cheers Liquor, 1617 W. Main St.

A lawn mower was reported stolen at 10:53 a.m. Monday at 604 St. Peter Ave.

Tools, batteries and $200 in cash were reported taken from a house and garage at 11:40 a.m. Monday at 222 N. Fourth Ave.

A gray and black bike was reported stolen at 1:24 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway Ave. The incident allegedly occurred on the 1000-block of James Avenue.

License plates were reported stolen at 4;43 p.m. Monday at 1430 Academy Ave.

A boat motor was reported stolen from a backyard at 7:07 p.m. Monday at 518 St. Peter Ave. The motor was valued $1,000.

A theft was reported at 8:31 p.m. Monday at 912 Hillside Ave.

Child abuse/neglect reported

A child abuse/neglect report was made at 4:59 p.m. Monday at 1109 Lincoln Ave. The incident allegedly occurred Friday.
