Jade and Ashley Riskedahl of 73538 315th St., Hartland, announce the birth of a son, Dylan Jade Riskedahl, on Sept. 9, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Dylan weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and joins a brother, Ian.

Grandparents are Russell and Barb Sorum and Donn and Carol Riskedahl.

Great-grandparents are Paul and Nancy Sorum, the late Ardus Jorgenson, Neuman and the late Dorothy Riskedahl, and Esther and the late Dick VanRavenhorst.

Travis Thompson and Jenny Fjermestad of 71969 200th St., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Mia Lillian Thompson, on Aug. 15, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Mia weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and joins a sister, Madeline.

Grandparents are Brian and Cindy Fjermestad, Cheryl Blake and Tim Thompson.

Great-grandparents are Lorrie Fjermestad, Clarence and Mary Ann Boelman, Marge Boelman and Phyllis Blake.

Great-great-grandmother is Nellie Johnson.

Jamie S. Christenson and Justin M. Matson of 183 Limestone Lane, Mankato, announce the birth of a son, Joseph Lee Matson, on Sept. 8, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Joseph weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

Grandparents are Susan and Tom Westland of Albert Lea, Terry and Jane Christenson of Owatonna and Quentin and Patricia Matson of Albert Lea.

Great-grandparents are Robert and Mary Lou Jacobson of Albert Lea, Annabell Christenson of Albert Lea and Lola Matson.

Bradley and Dawn Scholz of St. Bonifacius announce the birth of a son, Samuel Milton Scholz, on July 1, 2008, in Waconia. Samuel weighed 7 pounds, and joins a brother, Ben.

Grandparents are Pam Ethen of Glenville, Richard and Mary Bremer of Austin and John and Julie Scholz of LaCrosse, Wis.

Great-grandparents are Arlene Williamson of Glenville, Frank and Judy Gerlach of Austin and Carla Belefonte of La Crosse, Wis.

Morgan Meaney and Roy Matson of 1817 W. Ninth St., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Kayden Marie Matson, on Aug. 27, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Kayden weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

Grandparents are Lisa Meaney, Bob Meaney and Pat and Quentin Matson.

Great-grandparents are Mal and Colleen Prinzing and Lola Matson.
