The Tigers improved their dual-meet record to 14-4 with a pair of nonconference wins at Fairmont, 62-12 over the host team and 55-16 over Worthington.

&uot;The guys didn’t let down,&uot; said Goodnature. &uot;They kept their level of intensity. We looked good tonight. It’s the way we need to wrestle the rest of the season.&uot;

The Tigers got two falls from Justin Krueger at 145 pounds. He pinned his Fairmont opponent in 5:28 and needed only 43 seconds in the Worthington meet.

Also winning two matches for the Tigers were Josh Hansen at 103 and Wyatt Reyerson at 152. Reyerson remained unbeaten for the season.

Several Tigers won one match on the mat and the other by forfeit. They were Brandon Klukow, 112; Neal Underdahl, 119; Adam Elseth, 125; Nate Loberg, 130; and Eric Page, 160.

Alan Attig won twice by forfeit at 140. Winning one of two bouts were Adam Morreim, 135; Andy Davis, 171; and Isaac Walton, 189.

Heavyweight Adam Lares was pinned twice, both times by wrestlers ranked among the top in the state.

The Tigers, 7-1 in Big Nine dual meets, travel to Mankato West Thursday for their final regular-season competition. The junior varsity is set to begin at 6 p.m., with the varsity to follow at 7.
