Randy Osmonson and Dustin Lennie practice their bocce ball skills on Albert Lea’s Monkey Island Thursday. They said that with ice still surrounding the island, there was not threat of losing the balls in Fountain Lake. It was also one of the few areas where they could find a decent patch of grass that was not covered with snow.
