Mike Glassel, 10, inspects some wildflowers Wednesday at Myre-Big Island State Park as Alberto Avila, 11, second from left, Jacob Vitzlaff, 11, and Shawn Biggins, 11, fight off mosquitoes while sketching the plant. Fifth graders from Lakeview Elementary School spent the afternoon at the park finding and drawing various wildflowers they had learned about in science class.
