She simply refuses to lose.

&uot;Camille has an attitude that nobody is going to beat her,&uot; said Ferber.

So far, few have.

Kyte continued to lead the Panthers – winning two events and setting a school record – as NRHEG placed third in the always-tough Sentinel Relays at Fairmont.

The host team won with 191 points, followed by Hutchinson with 111, NRHEG 109, Jackson County Central 92.5, St. Louis Park 64.5, Minneapolis North 58 and United South Central 41.

&uot;We saw some tremendous competition tonight,&uot; said Ferber.

Kyte and her teammates measured up well.

Kyte won the 200 meters in a school-record 26.6 seconds and was first in the 400 in 62.09. She took second in the 100 and fourth in the triple jump.

The Panthers’ throwers continued to thrive. Nicole Lonning won the shot put and took second in the discus while Jenifer Brouwers won the discus and took fourth in the shot.

Kalisha Anthony re-broke her own school record while winning the pole vault at 9-9. She was fourth in the 100 hurdles in 16.84 seconds, another school record.

Kelsie Hansen took second in the high jump, fifth in the 100 hurdles and seventh in the 300 hurdles.

Emily Kofstad, Anthony, Ellen Johnson and Brouwers were fifth in the 4×200 relay. Ashley Misgen, Alicia Kaplan, Sarah Kyte and Michel Maurer took fifth in the medley relay.

&uot;We have a core of girls that are on a mission to set new marks in almost every event,&uot; said Ferber. &uot;Jenifer and Nicole give us a great 1-2 punch in the weights.&uot;
