Officers of the Southeastern Minnesota Drug Task Force arrested two Albert Lea men Tuesday for selling cocaine.
John Anthony Garza of 215 Pearl Street and Antonio Donnell Young, address unknown, were charged Wednesday in District Court with sale of cocaine and marijuana.
According to the complaints, Garza, operating from his home on Pearl Street, sold cocaine to an undercover officer twice on May 10 totaling about four grams along with a small amount of marijuana.
Young also sold a total of about 7 grams of cocaine from the same location on Pearl Street on three occasions between May 11 and June 5.
The arrests and subsequent charges resulted from a month-long undercover investigation coordinated by the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department with support from the drug task force.
Bail was set at $50,000 for both defendants. They make their next court appearance June 18.
