Another man charged in the March drug bust at the Palace Bar has pleaded guilty to selling cocaine in the incident.

Armando Molina Alvarez, 47, of 326 Court Street, pleaded guilty to three counts of third-degree sale of cocaine. In return for the guilty pleas, the county dropped one first-degree and three second-degree sale of cocaine charges, according to court documents.

Alvarez will be sentenced for the crimes on Sept. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

Earlier this summer, Fred Lopez, 33, of 108 McArthur Drive, pleaded guilty to third-degree sale of cocaine. Eduardo Olmedo, also known as Jose Melendez, 28, of 212 South Washington, Apt. 4, pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting the sale of cocaine.

All three men were arrested after a month-long investigation of alleged cocaine and methamphetamine trafficking revealed they were distributing narcotics from the Palace Bar, 134 W. William St.

In other court news:

n Michael Scott Olson, 36, of 1301 Sheridan Ave., was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail after pleading guilty to fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine.

n Donald Loren Bierman was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, terroristic threats, interference with an emergency call and fifth-degree misdemeanor assault for a July 18 incident in which he allegedly kicked a woman and threatened to bash her head in with a piece of metal pipe. Bierman was released without bail, on his promise to reappear in court.
