The arrival of the Yankee Air Museum’s B-17 at the Albert Lea airport today, and at the Mason City airport on Monday is now &uot;very unlikely,&uot; according to an official at the Yankee Air Museum office near Detroit.

Dale Worcester, a member of the flight crew of the B-17 &uot;Yankee Lady,&uot; reports that the FAA nationwide ban on general aviation activities has kept their aircraft on the ground until further notice. He reports that it is &uot;very unlikely&uot; that the ban will be lifted in time to begin their tour.

The planned tours and flights of the B-17 at the Albert Lea airport will not be rescheduled.

In addition, the World Aerobatic Competion, also scheduled for this weekend, has been postposed.
