Kari Wicker finishes shaving the head of ShopKo store manager Marty Heimer Monday. Heimer agreed to get his head shaved if ShopKo associates met their giving goal for the United Way of Freeborn County. Associates more than doubled what they gave last year. Virgil Harmdierks of the receiving department also shaved off his beard, and three associates, Rachelle Klingfus, Tami Anderson and Kandee Petersen, dyed their hair in honor of exceeding the goal. There were also drawings for store associates participating in the drive, and the store won a pizza party, courtesy of the corporate office.
