Dennis and his wife Peggy Raleigh, owners of Raleigh’s Ace Hardware in Albert Lea, are staying positive after Home Depot’s opening, saying smaller retailers may even see a trickle-down effect from more shoppers staying in Albert Lea rather than driving to larger stores in Mankato, Mason City or Rochester.
