It was parents night. And they enjoyed every minute.

The Wolverines led from the start while hammering LeRoy-Ostrander 82-32 in a Southeast Conference girls’ basketball game.

&uot;We just came out with a hot hand,&uot; said Wolverines coach Lisa Ziebell.

That’s an understatement.

The Wolverines hit from outside and in while bolting to a 30-17 first-quarter lead, prompting Ziebell to clear the bench in the second. It was 50-17 at halftime, 67-22 after three quarters.

Katie Brackey led the Wolverines with 19 points and five assists. Alisa Rayman had 13 points, 10 steals, seven rebounds and four assists; she also tied the single-season school record for three-point baskets.

Other statistics: Lauren Bremer 10 points, six steals, three assists; Jenna Brackey nine points; Kelly Yost eight points, six rebounds, three steals; Sara Greibrok seven points; Taryn Kaasa six points, three rebounds; Megan Avery seven rebounds; Becky Erickson four points, Sara Stadheim three points; Ellen Hansen two points.

The Wolverines improved to 8-11 overall and 6-3 in the conference while the Cardinals fell to 1-16.

The Wolverines play at Grand Meadow Tuesday.
