Robert ‘Bob’ Jensen, 77, Mesa, Ariz.

Robert ‘Bob’ Jensen died at his home on April 15, 2002 in Mesa, Ariz. Memorial services were held April 19 in Mesa. Bob was born to Chris and Esther (Neist) Jensen, March 9,1925 in Albert Lea.

Bob attended Albert Lea schools and was in the class of 1943. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps and left for service Dec. 7,1942. He became a pilot and was active in the European area. After 20 years in the Air Force Reserve he retired with the rank of Major. On May 26,1946, he married Gloria Quill in Albert Lea. His life work was in the dairy business. He worked for Thomson Dairy, Polly Meadow in Albert Lea and the Rochester Dairy in Rochester. He retired to Mesa, Ariz. Survivors are his wife, Gloria, of Mesa; a son, The Rev. Robert and wife Liz Jensen of Milwaukee, Wis.; a daughter Barbara and her husband Joe Dwyer of Seattle, Wash; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Kenneth and wife Cindy Jensen and sister Vera and husband Ken Nelson, all of Albert Lea. He was preceded in death by his parents.
