Funeral services for Rose I. ‘Tootie’ Bailey of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, formerly of Albert Lea, were held on Wednesday, April 17, in Lisbon, Iowa.

Rose died in a Cedar Rapids, Iowa, hospital on Sunday, April 14, 2002.

Rose was 66 years old. She was married to Edward &uot;Glen&uot; Bailey, who worked at Fountain Industries, Albert Lea. Rose worked at St. John’s Lutheran Home, Albert Lea. They both retired and moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to be with their children and grandchildren.

Rose had five children and nine grandchildren: Don and Jean Bailey of Iowa and their three children, Steve and Janet Bailey of Texas and their children; Roger Bailey of Texas and his two children, Kathy and Rich Sparrow of Iowa and their two children, Rick Bailey of Iowa and his child; and special pet, Muffin, her poodle.

Rose was a special person and a very good friend to all who knew her.

She will be sadly missed by all.
