Crash at construction site

This truck, driving 35 miles an hour, drove down West Main

Street and smashed into concrete pipes at the viaduct construction

site Tuesday afternoon. Workers managed to get out of the truck’s

way. No one was injured. The driver, a woman in her mid 40s, was

conscious and was taken to The Albert Lea Medical Center. Police

said the accident was caused by the driver’s medical problems.
