A Walters man died in a rollover accident during the weekend.

The accident was reported to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office around midnight Saturday.

According to the investigation, a 1991 Chevrolet Suburban went off the road near the intersection of 660th Avenue and 130th Street in Mansfield Township.

The driver, Vern Allan Braund, 39, of Walters, was ejected from the vehicle and died from multiple injuries in the crash.

Braund was alone in the vehicle. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
