Joseph C. O’Rourke, age 49, of Minneapolis, formerly of Albert Lea, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at his home.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1953, in Albert Lea, the son of Joseph C. O’Rourke Sr. and Sylvia O’Rourke.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Christiansen.

He will be deeply missed by loving wife, Joyce; sister, Geri (Jack) Tindahl; brothers: Rick (Marilyn) and Jimmy; special nephew, Bill (Barb) Jensen; niece, Deb; nephews: Matt and Mitch; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the O’Rourke home at 2541 Blaisdell Ave. S #3, in Minneapolis.

Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
