Norman V. Jensen, 74, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Norman V. Jensen will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Lissa Kahl will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour before the service at the church. Military honors will be accorded by the Albert Lea Veterans Organizations.

Norman died on Monday, April 29, 2002, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. He was 74 years old.

Norman was born in Albert Lea on March 31,1928, the son of Levi O. and Lillian Jensen. He was a lifelong resident of Albert Lea and attended Albert Lea public school. He served with the U. S. Army during World War II and was stationed in Okinawa.

On Oct. 21, 1953, Norman was united in marriage with Lois Fuller in Albert Lea. They were members of Trinity Lutheran Church. He retired after 40 years of working for Wilson & Co. He was a member of the Albert Lea VFW and American Legion, and the Farmstead Retirees Club. He enjoyed fishing and boating, and loved time spent with his family and grandchildren.

Norman is survived by his wife, Lois of Albert Lea; two sons: Mark Jensen and his wife Sheila, and Don Jensen and his wife Kathy, all of Albert Lea; five grandchildren: Jeremy, Janelle, Amanda, Sarah and Jared; one brother, Ray Jensen and his wife Fran of Oregon; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Lillian Jensen; one sister, Helen Davis; two brothers: Roger and Robert Jensen; and mother- and father-in-law, and Edwin and Freida Fuller.
