Albert Lea’s Ryan Thompson was the first-round leader in the

Section 1AA Boys’ Golf Tournament Thursday, shooting a 3-over-par

74 at Winona Country Club. The tournament concludes Tuesday at

Bellwood Oaks near Hastings.
