The Albert Lea Elks U-16 girls’ soccer team was not a very gracious host in last weekend’s First Annual Albert Lea Invitational &045; at least not once the players stepped inside the lines.

The Elks squad went 4-0, outscoring their opponents by a combined 34-3.

Game one was a 9-0 victory over White Bear Lake. The U-16 girls shut out the Dakota Rev 8-0 and, in the semifinals, defeated Albert Lea’s U-15 team 7-2 in a very physical game.
