Kids reel in fruits of lake efforts

Erin Brick poses with the 2.6-pound largemouth bass she hooked

during Take a Kid Fishing Day Saturday. The fish won her first

prize in the girls’ division of the contest. Kids were catching

catfish, bullheads, crappies, largemouth bass and sunnies, reeling

in more than 100 fish in the first hour.
