The final hurdle

Steph Overgaard of Albert Lea competes in the 100-meter hurdles

during Saturday’s Section 1AA track and field meet at Carleton

College in Northfield. It was the final hurdle race of the season

for Overgaard, who placed sixth to earn a medal. Albert Lea had

two state entrants in Emily Bartusek and Beth Kolling. They compete

Friday and Saturday at the National Sports Center in Blaine.
