Arline Helle Mason, age 80, of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Athens, Ga., passed away Monday, July 1, 2002.

A native of Glenville, Mrs. Mason was the daughter of the late John and Gena Hofstad Helle. She had been a pianist and a homemaker. She was a member of the Oglethorpe congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, at the Winterville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Forrest and Bonnie Mason of Madison, Ga.; a daughter, Leslie Mason of Athens, Ga.; two sisters: Evelyn Larsen of Albert Lea, and Pearl Andersen of Albert Lea; one grandson, Scott Mason of Madison, Ga.; and three step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1841 Clifton. Rd., Atlanta, GA 30329, or to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483.
