Funeral arrangements are pending in Springfield, Mo., for Christine L. Beuerlain, 88, of Albert Lea, who died Friday, July 12, 2002 at St. John’s Lutheran Home in Albert Lea.

Christine was born March 29, 1914 in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. She was a high schooI graduate of Lawrenceburg High School and attended nurses training in Tennessee.

Christine was united in marriage to Albert M. Beuerlein Sr. and together they made their home in various communities in the Midwest before settling in Springfield, Mo., where she lived for 48 years. She moved to Albert Lea to make her home in 1995. She was a member of St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Albert Lea.

Christine was an active volunteer at St. John’s Regional Hospital in Springfield for many years. She also enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, baking and going for walks or bicycle riding. Many memorable times were also spent at the cabin at the lake.

Christine is survived by her children, Albert M. Jr. and his wife Annette of San Clemente, Calif., Donald E. and his wife Turid of Topeka, Kan., and Mary Ann and her husband Don Edberg of Rosemount, Minn. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert, and ten brothers and sisters.
