Planning downtown’s future

The Lea Center building, back, would be purchased by the city

and turned over to a developer under a plan to be considered in

two weeks. The city needs to deal with a few issues in the meantime,

including finding more parking in the area; one plan is to tear

down the One-Hour Martinizing building to expand the nearby city

parking lot.
