Preparing for the parade

City employee Dennis Christenson places parts of a street barrier

at the corner of North Bridge and Ruble Avenues early today. The

barrier will be used to block off the street near New Denmark

Park as part of the preparations for the parade scheduled to start

at 6:30 p.m.
