Wells Fargo bank of Albert Lea will close its branch office in Rainbow Foods Aug. 30, the bank announced in a memo to its customers.

&uot;The vast majority of our customers have chosen to use our store at 122 East Main Street; therefore, we have determined our resources should be located at the 122 East Main Street location,&uot; the announcement said.

The bank explained that the grocery store location in Skyline Mall is only a mile from the main office downtown and that customers can use the bank’s drive through, 24-hour ATM service, phone banking and online banking.

The staff from the Skyline location will be relocated to the downtown office, the bank said.
