MANKATO &045; Bethany Lutheran College men’s basketball head coach Art Westphal has announced the signing of Josh Kasper to a National Junior College Athletic Association National Letter of Intent for the 2002-03 season.

Kasper, the son of Tim and Laurie Kasper of Albert Lea, is a 2002 graduate of Albert Lea High School. A 6-foot-1, 170-pound guard, Kasper was the team MVP for coach Matt Addington’s Tigers as a senior, also earning All-Big 9 honorable mention honors.

Kasper intends to major in business administration.

“Josh showed great progress his senior year,&uot; said Coach Westphal. &uot;He is an excellent three-point shooter while also possessing a quick first step which allows him to get to the basket. He has good overall quickness.”
