Jack Bruce Dale, age 69, of Ukiah, Calif., died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, peacefully at Home

He was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Albert Lea.

He had been a resident of this area for 37 years. His occupations were tool and die machinist.

He married Ilene June Hersey on Oct. 17, 1959.

His accomplishments most proud of were: fought with First Marine Division in Korea, honorably discharged, and volunteer (SP), proud father and husband.

Activities included clubs (Community Service, etc.), First Marine Division Association. He earned an Associate of Arts degree. He was a sergeant in the

U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and his awards/honors include: Korean Service Medal with two stars, UN Service Medal, National

Defense service Medal, Korean PUC, and Good Conduct Medal. His favorite quote: “Not my best work; I could have done better&uot;

Survivors include spouse, Ilene June Dale of Ukiah, Calif.; daughters, Victoria Dale Jenney of Ukiah, Calif.; sons: Frank Scott Dale of Littleton, Colo., and Eric James Dale of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Marlene Norton of Lakeport, Calif.; brother, Raymond Dale of Tok, Alaska; and grandchildren: Alexandra Ilene Ann Jenney of Ukiah, Calif., and Jack Elias Dale of Littleton, Colo.

There will be no services at Jack’s request.

He was preceded in death by brother, Roger Dale of Baker Ore.; and sister, Lavon Godwin of Utah.

Eversole Mortuary of Ukiah, Calif., is in charge of the arrangements.
