Odean B. Flattum, age 72, of Greeley, Colo., died on Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at the Hospice and Palliative Care Inpatient Unit in Greeley.

He was born April 29, 1930, in Albert Lea to Ole and Alava (Brua) Flattum.

On May 21, 1955, he married Darlene Armstrong in Albert Lea.

Mr. Flattum owned an operated Small Engine Repair in Greeley since 1986.

He enjoyed flying his airplanes, and working his shop building things.

He also enjoyed the greater out-of-doors and the mountains.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 until 1953.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Flattum of Greeley; one daughter, Cindy K. Warner of Greeley; one son, Steve B. Flattum of Poplar Grove, Ill.; two granddaughters, Jamie Flattum of Lees Summit, Mo., and Kaily Warner of Greeley; one grandson, Steven Flattum II of Poplar Grove, Ill.; and one brother, Toye Flattum of Albert Lea.

His parents, two brothers, two sisters and one son are deceased.

No services are scheduled. Cremation.
