Pitching in for lakeshore cleanup

Luis Cardenas, 12, left, and Benjamin Padilla, 11, work together

in cleaning up the shoreline of Albert Lea Lake Tuesday afternoon

at Frank Hall Park. The boys were cleaning up with the Freeborn

County Mentor Program, which has done the clean-up for the last

three years. Participants in the clean-up were rewarded with pizza

and a ride on the Pelican Breeze.
