Vikings bounce back against SCMT

NORTHWOOD, Iowa &045; Apparently, the Northwood-Kensett Vikings did not enjoy their losing experience even a little.
A week after dropping their football opener 26-8 at Graettinger, the Vikings pounded SCMT 54-6 in their first home game of the season Friday night.
The Vikings, controlled on the line of scrimmage at Graettinger, dominated Friday, rushing for 545 yards and totaling 584 yards while holding SCMT to 136 total.
Joe Fierova rushed 18 times for 231 yards and three touchdowns. Doug Millard caught two passes for 22 yards.
Millard led the N-K defense with 10 tackles.
The Vikings travel to Greene this Friday.
