Arnold E. Wipplinger, 78, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Arnold E. Wipplinger, age 78, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Our Father’s House, Highway 69 S., Albert Lea. The Rev. Kip Jentoft will officiate. Interment will be at 1 p.m. in the Fairview Cemetery, Kiester. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to
the service at the church on Wednesday.
Arnold died on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, at his home in Albert Lea.
Arnold Earl Wipplinger was born on Oct. 18, 1924, in Mansfield Township, the son of Thomas and Vera (Hintz) Wipplinger. He attended schools in Kiester and Waverly, Iowa. Arnold served in the U. S. Army during World War II. After his time in the service Arnold attended business school. Arnold attended Our Father’s House.
Survivors include his sister, Leona Roberts of Albert Lea; nieces: Gretchen Hulleman, Anna Brua, Lezlie Carlsen, RaNae Ranum, and Leona Helland; nephew, Butch Roberts; 22 great-nieces and -nephews; many great-great-nieces and -nephews; many cousins; and aunts: Ruby Hewitt, Freda Meisshalter, Ann and her husband George Anderson, Helen Wipplinger, and Arzella Wipplinger.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents.
