Flo, age 92, of Lake Mills, Iowa, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at the Albert Lea Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14,

at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Kiester, with the Rev. Dani Jo Ninke-Greaver officiating.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 East Main St., Lake Mills, Iowa. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran

Cemetery, rural Kiester.

Gilmen &uot;Gilly&uot; Orville Flo was born Dec. 28, 1909, in Winnebago County, Iowa, the son of

Stephen and Ella (Fure) Flo.

Gilly graduated from Bricelyn High School and attended Waldorf College where he played football.

He loved sports and was considered an outstanding athlete.

He was a fast runner and often spoke of times when he played for the Eden Township Cardinals.

Gilly loved to travel and was a very active, life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He married Evangeline Eilertson in Bricelyn.

Together, they farmed for many years.

Evangeline passed away on Oct. 10, 1990.

Gilly will be deeply missed by his very special friend, Gloria Langerud of Lake Mills, Iowa; two sisters-in-law: Luella Flo of Lake Mills, Iowa, and Alma Flo of Blue Earth; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; four brothers: Leonard, Otto, Burt and Sydney; two sisters: Ellen Flo and Burnilla Catt.
