Gladys (Seberson) Cameron, 91, Milbank, S.D.

Gladys Cameron was born on Oct. 6, 1911, in Manchester, the daughter of Charley and Gertrude (Bothun) Seberson.

As a young woman Gladys worked as a mother’s helper until her marriage Dec. 23,1933 to Ervin Fogel in Owatonna. Following their marriage the Fogel’s farmed in the rural Albert Lea area, for seven years. They moved their family to Rosholt, S.D. and resided there for seven years. They then moved to Browns Valley, Minn. Mr. Fogel passed away in 1956.

Gladys continued to live in Browns Valley until her marriage to Gordon Cameron on Oct.12, 1958. She and Gordon established their home together on a farm near Wilmot, S.D. Gordon passed away in 1966. Gladys returned to Browns Valley where she remained until entering St. William’s Home in Milbank, S.D. January 2000. Gladys passed away Oct. 17, 2002 at St. William’s Home at Milbank, S.D., at the age of 91.

Survivors include three daughters; Janice Braaten, Rosholt, S.D., Betty Busch, Edina, Minn., Sharon and husband Bill Reil of Wilmot. S.D. Two stepsons; Richard and Leo Cameron of Wilmot, S.D. One sister; Ida Satre of Albert Lea. Seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight

great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by; six brothers, Clarence, Roy, Wallace, Chester, Walter and one brother-in-fancy, also four sisters; Burnette Behrends, Lusella Nelson, Arthillie Swenson and Wilma Bangert.

Funeral services were held Saturday Oct. 19, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Wilmot, S.D. Interment was at Valley View Cemetery in Browns Valley, Minn. Rev. Glenn A. Schultz officiated.

Casket Bearers were; Kerry Cameron, Brad Braaten, Shane Braaten, Riley Braaten, Bob Busch and Duane Spooner.
