Robert C. Meyer, age 43, of Oakland, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, at the Valkyrie Home in Rochester.

Robert was born July 25, 1959, in Albert Lea, to Leonard A. and Ardelle (Anderson) Meyer.

Survivors include his father, Leonard A. Meyer of Oakland; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Duane and Linda Meyer of Austin, Leonard S. and Barbara Meyer of Oakland, and Darrell and Pamela Meyer of Albert Lea; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and -nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ardelle Meyer; brother, Bruce Meyer; and niece, Brenda.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Mayer Funeral Home, Austin, with the Rev. Bob Seifert officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Thursday. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Albert Lea.

The casket bearers will be Chad Meyer, Philip Meyer, Dustin Meyer and Adam Meyer.
